Jeu de données concernant l'état de l'habitat pélagique en support de la Directive-cadre stratégie pour le milieu marin (DCSMM) Descripteur 1 (D01C06, Rapport 2018)
This dataset is part of the Belgian submission for the 2018 Marine Strategic Framework Directive (MSFD) and reports on descriptor 1, criterion 6. This dataset describes the soft benthos analysis performed in the Belgian part of the North Sea between 2010 and 2016. Information on the location, date and procedure used for the sediment sampling is povided as well as the description of the species found in the samples. Based on this dataset, the Belgian MSFD reporting concluded that the benthic habitat quality is clearly lower in areas where a certain activity interferes with the environment in an intensive way.

La concentration de chlorophylle a a été générée à partir des données quotidiennes de couleur de l'océan mesurées par le satellite ENVISAT-MERIS durant les années 2003-2011. Les algorithmes utilisés pour dériver les données des capteurs satellitaires correspondent aux meilleurs algorithmes disponibles (produits algal-1 et algal 2, traitement MEGS 7.5, ESA) pour une zone et une période déterminées. Le contrôle de la qualité a été effectué conformément aux indicateurs de confiance standard des produits MERIS. Les données sont fournies à une résolution d'environ 1 km sur une grille géographique avec un espacement égal en longitude et en latitude couvrant la région décrite.
