Sediment dataset of sampled locations in the extraction sectors of the Hinderbanks containing information on sediment parameters (kurtosis, mean, median, percentages, percentiles, skewness, sorting), particle size distribution, calcium carbonate and organic matter content.The dataset is a contribution to the monitoring programme of the impact of marine aggregate extraction in the Hinderbanks area (MOZ4). This dataset is a data product from the monitoring programme of the impact of marine aggregate extraction in the Hinder Banks area (Flemish Authorities MOZ4; contract 211.177). The research was fully supported by the ZAGRI project, a federal Belgian programme for continuous monitoring of sand and gravel extraction, paid from private revenues. Further, it contributes to the national Belgian Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD; 2008/56/EC) monitoring program on seafloor integrity.
